BATES` Anger Resolution Sessions

Anger is a natural emotion and happens as a defensive response to a perceived attack or threat to our well-being. When we become angry our adrenaline flows which consists of an increased heart rate and an escalated blood pressure.

We must realize that ‘anger’ itself is not the problem; it’s how we handle our anger or the lack thereof.  Often times our perception of a situation can causes anger to ignite therefore learning to effectively manage our anger begins with admitting that there is a problem, secondly forsaking pride and unforgiveness. 

One in five Americans has an Anger Management deficiency.  Anger can lead to physical problems when not properly managed and long-term anger has been linked to chronic headaches, sleep disorders, digestive problems, high blood pressure, and even heart attacks.

Anger should never be suppressed but should be expressed in a non aggressive manner.

Our goal is to replace old cognitive tools & behaviors with new positive cognitive tools and behaviors by applying goal driven lessons and personal coaching/counseling.  

BATES Counseling Solutions provides affordable anger and conflict resolution courses for court ordered teens, men, women, and families. Need and want to improve your relationship skills with a loved one, significant other, employer or co-worker, our classes are meant for you.

B.A.R. classes meet requirements for persons required to complete an anger management class by the court, an employer or other referring agency.

All classes are supervised by Certitified Anger Resolution Instructor.

Classes focus on skills needed to reduce negative behavior.
